Peugeot supports Greater Manchester Police with additional vehicles

PEUGEOT shows its support during the COVID19 crisis by providing five of its demonstrator vehicles, including Expert Crew vans and a Traveller people carrier, to Greater Manchester Police. The vehicles are being put to operational use, supporting frontline policing during the pandemic.

The vehicles provided to best suit the current needs of Greater Manchester Police are two Standard Expert Crew vans in Professional trim with BlueHDi 120 engines, a Standard Expert Crew van in Sport Edition trim with the BlueHDi 150 engine, a Long Expert Crew van in Professional trim with the BlueHDi 120 engine and the PEUGEOT Traveller in Business trim with the BlueHDi 150 engine.

The PEUGEOT Expert Crew van was launched in 2017, following the success launch of the panel van in late 2016. Available in Standard, or Long with Professional trim,  the PEUGEOT Expert Crew van has three different trim levels and is capable of carrying up to six people. There are three different BlueHDi diesel power outputs to choose from, the 120 and 150 with a manual gearbox and 180 with automatic transmission only.  These versatile Crew vans are the perfect choice to cater for a number of business needs.

The PEUGEOT Traveller is available from £35,960 OTR and has four trim levels and two lengths to choose from. These trim levels are separated into Active and Allure, with families in mind, or Business and Business VIP created to cater for business purposes.  The PEUGEOT Traveller can accommodate eight passengers.

David Peel, Managing Director for PEUGEOT UK, says: “The circumstances created by the COVID19 crisis have been extremely difficult for everyone, so we’re pleased we are able to lend our support to Greater Manchester Police with some additional vehicles. The emergency services and other key workers are so important which is why PEUGEOT, as part of Groupe PSA, has introduced a number of initiatives to support them throughout this pandemic. We’re incredibly grateful for the work they’re doing.”
