More than 300 delegates have signed up to attend the 2026 Annual Conference of the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), making it the organisation’s biggest yet.
Taking place at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, and sponsored by Ayvens and Farizon, the event is just three weeks away on Wednesday 13th May 2026.
Speakers have now been finalised and include a keynote presentation on navigating the challenges of electrification from Ben Banfield, head of vehicle policy for vehicles, consumer and strategy at the Office for Zero Emissions Vehicles.
Other topics being covered – featuring a range of leading fleet managers – are the use of AI in fleet management, new legislation and its impact on fleets, leading your fleet through crisis and corporate risk, and navigating the challenges of EV transition. There is also an interactive workshop on reducing fuel costs.
There will also an awards ceremony recognising those who have completed AFP Fleet Academy presentations.
Paul Hollick, chair at the AFP, said: “We’ve been delighted by the level of interest seen in this year’s conference. Last year’s registration numbers have already been exceeded and with around three weeks yet to go, look certain to grow further.”
The event was now firmly established as a key fixture in the fleet industry calendar, he explained, and had developed a reputation for providing practical guidance to fleet managers.
“Our aim is that every AFP member who attends will leave with ideas and strategies they can apply to their business easily and quickly. The focus is placed entirely on practical applications and tangible outcomes.
“Again, we’ve made the event as responsive as possible to current fleet manager needs – – everyone who has registered has been able to put forward the subjects they want to see covered. It’s going to be an excellent day.”
Registration for the AFP 2026 Conference, which is open to all AFP members, is at https://www.theafp.co.uk/the-afp-annual-conference-2026/.
