After eight consecutive years of claiming the prestigious RoSPA ‘Gold’ Award for health and safety, Story wanted to take their fleet safety to the next level.
On-site and at their yards and depos, safety was contained. They could see what was going on, they knew the risks, and they’d implemented measures accordingly. But what about those bits in between yards, depots, offices, and sites?

We worked closely with Carl, Story’s Fleet Manager, to determine how to take things to the next level. We agreed on a phased approach, starting with video telematics (VideMatics) connected to high-quality dash cameras for the Scotland department – and then scaling based on results.
Three months after we finished installing our solutions, the Scotland department was showing improvements across the board.
Not only did they defeat false claims in record time and lower repair and maintenance costs, but they also increased vehicle uptime, keeping the Story machine running smoothly.
