New annual resource created to celebrate, support and promote the people behind the UK’s essential fleets.
Essential Fleet Group Ltd has officially launched the Essential Fleet Professional Guide 2027, a new annual industry resource dedicated to the people working in fleet management across the UK and internationally.
Created to celebrate, support and promote the fleet profession, the guide has been developed for those responsible for managing vehicle fleets across both the public and private sector.
Unlike many fleet publications that focus primarily on vehicles, legislation and products, the Essential Fleet Professional Guide puts the spotlight firmly on the people behind the profession. Through interviews, career pathways, professional development, industry insight and practical guidance, the guide aims to recognise the vital contribution fleet professionals make while supporting career development at every stage.
When published later this year, the guide will be available free of charge as a digital issue and PDF download. For those who prefer a printed reference, a professionally produced print edition will also be available to purchase.
To support the launch, Essential Fleet Group has also unveiled the dedicated Essential Fleet Professional website, which provides further information about the guide, how to get involved, register for your free digital copy and contribute to its development.
Fleet professionals visiting the website can:
- Register to receive their free digital copy of the Essential Fleet Professional Guide 2027.
- Purchase a printed edition for delivery when published.
- Complete the Fleet Professional Survey to help shape the guide.
- Volunteer to be featured in Fleet Professional Profiles and the My Fleet Journey interview series.
- Learn more about partnership opportunities and the vision behind the new publication.
The initial Fleet Professional Survey takes less than five minutes to complete and will help build a clearer picture of today’s fleet profession, including career pathways, qualifications, professional development and the challenges facing those working across the sector.
The findings will help shape the editorial content of the guide while creating valuable industry insight that supports the continued development of the fleet profession.
Whether managing a fleet of 20 vehicles or 2,000, every fleet professional has a story to tell and a role to play in helping build this new industry resource.
