FMG Repair Services appoints tech & innovation champion

Accident repair specialist FMG Repair Services continues its investment in the future of sustainable vehicle repair with the appointment of Michael Massey to the role of Head of Technical Capability & Innovation.

Michael will lead initiatives to future-proof the business, heading up its environmental sustainability programme and championing technological advancements for the products, processes and repair methods for today’s FMGRS bodyshops, along with future site developments.

Michael brings a huge wealth of technical expertise, having most recently worked at 3M as a Senior Engineer and the technical leader in the development of new products. He is also an Ambassador for the Automotive School of Thought.

The news of Michael’s appointment comes just one month after FMG Repair Services announced the opening of its brand new site in Chadderton, Greater Manchester, its third brand new site opening in the past eight months. The company’s ongoing growth plans include further investment and upgrade works to sites. The business employ over 1,650 colleagues UK-wide, with the capability to repair in excess of 100,000 vehicles per annum.
