SEAT UK has revamped its fleet website to provide comprehensive information for fleet managers and company car drivers after seeing 39% growth in web traffic in 2019. With the aim of building a reputation as a trusted, ‘go to’ destination for fleet information, the new fleet section of the SEAT website is designed to simplify the decision-making process, providing users with vital information – including explainer videos and useful tools – about key fleet topics, the model range and SEAT Fleet initiatives.
As well as details specific to fleet managers and their drivers, the new ‘Knowledge Zone’ gives essential insights into subjects including P11D value, Total Cost of Ownership, CO2, grey fleet, Benefit in Kind tax and electric vehicles. The site now also features a topical news hub with regular updates. The enhancements arrive after the government made significant changes to VED (Vehicle Excise Duty) and BiK (Benefit in Kind) rates in April and aims to make purchasing a SEAT as frictionless as possible. The additions also represent another example of SEAT’s easymove philosophy, to simplify the decision-making process and ownership experience. Helping fleet managers and company car drivers find the right SEAT for them, the site also boasts new tools including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Company Car Tax calculators, which give accurate, real-world ownership and tax costs for any vehicle.
As the industry rapidly evolves and the choices on offer grow, the new EV section aims to help businesses assess whether electric cars are right for their fleet. The new content will help companies looking to transform their fleets and potentially adopt EVs. With comprehensive information now available to fleets, when users know which models may suit them best, they can also organise a four-day test drive across the entire SEAT product line-up.
